Covid-19 Policy

Update 11th July 2022

  • It is no longer a requirement to wear a face mask through Durham House clinic.
  • Clients are not required to wear a mask during treatment at Sue Masters Holistic and Beauty.
  • The clinic has removed the Covid-19 Assessment questionnaire with every appointment reminder.
  • Sue will continue to wear Type 2 face coverings for any close contact services and gloves (waxing and electrolysis) at your request, even though there is no longer a legal requirement to do so.
  • There will be an individual risk assessment regarding the wearing of a mask with each client for any other services, especially where they are classed as “vulnerable".
  • Clients with COVID-19 symptoms will be asked to perform a lateral flow test. If it is positive, please wait until you have evidence of a negative test, before re- booking your treatment.
  • Clients are no longer required to check into the treatment room on arrival using the Track and Trace app.
  • Adequate ventilation will continue to be provided.
  • Cleaning will take place on a regular basis
  • Clients will still be required to use the separate seating area located outside my treatment room, once they have checked in with reception.

Cancellations policy

  • There has been an amendment to the original policy, in order to cover the cost of missed appointments, which are sometimes very last minute. It is therefore very difficult to fill these slots at short notice.
  • If you wish to amend or cancel your appointment, this must be done at least 48 hours before your scheduled treatment.
  • Any changes made within the 48 hour period will incur a charge of 50% of the total cost of the treatment.
  • A missed or cancelled appointment on the day of your appointment will incur a charge of 100% of your original total treatment cost, unless there are extenuating circumstances.
